Shifts Available:

Day Shift: Monday to Thursday: 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday: 3:30 PM to2:00 AM

Weekend Day Shift: Friday to Sunday: 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Weekend Evening Shift: Friday to Sunday: 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM

Role Summary:

In this role, you’ll maintain a clean and organized work area, assist our CNC Operators, and play an important part in keeping production moving smoothly. No prior CNC experience is required, just a willingness to learn and support the CNC team!

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Keep CNC machines and surrounding work areas clean and organized, including sweeping, dust removal, and clearing scrap materials.
• Assist CNC operators with product setup, preparation, and basic measurements.
• Apply coatings according to instructions and support quality standards.
• Maintain tools, materials, and supplies, and keep walkways and shared spaces safe and tidy.
• Empty trash and dust collection bins, and wipe down work surfaces as needed.
• Report any safety, quality, or maintenance issues to supervisors promptly.
• Work with the team to meet production goals and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, and perform other tasks as needed to support plant operations.

Qualifications and Role Requirements:

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and around machinery, following all safety procedures and using PPE correctly.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and handling materials safely.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools, cleaning equipment, and shop practices.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and commitment to quality and safety.
• Reliable, accountable, and able to work well with team members, supervisors, and CNC operators.
• Positive, respectful, and inclusive approach to teamwork, with adaptability to complete tasks efficiently.

Experience & Education:

• Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Additional training in manufacturing, woodworking, or health and safety practices is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with CNC shop operations or production environments is an asset.
• Experience working safely with wood materials or in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow standard operating procedures and health and safety practices in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).

Working Conditions & Environment:

• Production environment with exposure to noise and dust.
• Frequent movement, including climbing stairs and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times while on the production floor.
