Job Description:
This successful candidate will be a naturally enthusiastic team player who is able to handle administrative duties efficiently and accurately within defined service level, as well as provide exposure to handle and underwrite risks (personal auto & property). The position requires strong attention to detail and organization; an ability to prioritize and successfully manage all accountabilities within a fast paced and high-volume environment.
Summary of Role & Responsibilities:
- Maintain, service and distribute work from the Personal Insurance mailboxes and other communication channels within service standards
- Underwrite at a level of low to moderate risk for policy changes, renewals
- Indexation of Personal Insurance documentation and correspondence
- Manage Personal Insurance's general voicemail box
- Order inspections
- Complete Confirmations of Insurance
- Review of Personal Insurance IBC Errors
- Process Underwriting scrub lists
- Analyze premium discrepancies from broker partners
- Provide backup support for underwriting phone queue if required
- Other duties as assigned
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to handle large volume of transactions and to meet defined service levels
- Self-motivated, detail oriented and innovative
- Exceptional phone etiquette with strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Excellent time management skills in order to prioritize and meet deadlines
