Co-Ordinator - Marketing And Promotions

Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi is a vibrant and exciting tertiary education institution which offers a range of programmes from certificates to doctorates across a range of disciplines.

We are seeking a team player with a passion for marketing and promotions to spearhead our brand and recruitment marketing activities. You will make up our team of eight marketing and communications staff and your primary focus will be implementing effective promotional campaigns and attending events to increase student enrolments in our programmes.

Therefore, applicants must have the ability and willingness to travel away from home to support scheduled off-site marketing activities.

Our successful applicant will also have:

§ A relevant degree qualification and/or equivalent relevant work experience in business, marketing or public relations.

§ At minimum of three years’ experience in a marketing role.

§ Experience using the Microsoft suite of products.

§ Experience analysing marketing related data to measure effectiveness.

§ A full clean driver’s licence.

§ Knowledge of tikanga Māori and the ability to kōrero Te Reo Māori to at least an intermediate level, and/or a willingness to improve Te Reo Māori skills beyond basic.

Being well-organised, flexible, and able to work under pressure, are skills desired in this role.
