We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Coach Driver to join our team in Lucan. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting coaches on scheduled routes and charter trips, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the safety and comfort of all passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate coaches on scheduled routes, private charters, and special events in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct pre-departure vehicle inspections to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers, handling inquiries, and ensuring a positive travel experience.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents or vehicle issues.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the coach before and after trips.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly to the management team.
Requirements:
- Valid Category D (Coach) driving license with a clean driving record.
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
- Proven experience as a coach or bus driver is preferred.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of Dublin and surrounding areas.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good physical health and alertness.
