Coding Instructor

Job Title: Kids Coding Instructor (Part-Time) - Oakville Location

Ultimate Coders is the fastest-growing kid’s coding program in the GTA, rated as the best classes for learning computer coding for kids. We offer a dynamic, interactive learning environment that teaches vital 21st-century skills, including Scratch, Python, Robotics, Arduino, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Math. We’re passionate about helping kids discover their potential, fostering creativity and problem-solving through coding and technology.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Programming Instructor for our Oakville location. As an instructor, you will create a safe, engaging, and positive space for children to explore technology. If you enjoy working with young learners, have a passion for teaching, and are motivated to inspire the next generation, this role may be the perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete training and become familiar with our curriculum.

• Teach classes with up to six students in an interactive, hands-on environment.

• Foster a positive, safe atmosphere that promotes growth and learning.

• Assess students’ skills and adjust guidance to individual needs.

• Communicate effectively with parents about student progress.

• Follow daily opening and closing duties with punctuality.

Required Skills:

• Web Development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

• Arduino: C++

• Python Programming

• Scratch: Drag-and-drop programming

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications:

• Graduate or graduating with a diploma or degree in computer science or a related field.

• At least 1-year experience in teaching or tutoring children ages seven and up.

• Familiar with coding and technology, or able to quickly learn basic concepts.

Job Type:

• Part-time

• Pay: $16.2 per hour

Schedule:

• Evening shifts (Mon-Fri: 4 pm - 8 pm)

• Saturday (11 am - 2 pm)

• Weekend availability required

• In-person teaching position only at our Oakville center.
