We’re hiring at Here For Now, a newly opened café on University Road, Galway.

We’ve transformed this iconic spot into one of Galway’s go-to coffee destinations, with 50 outdoor seats by the canal, a relaxed atmosphere, and a top-class offering of specialty coffee, pastries, smoothies, and açaí bowls.

We’re building a small, friendly team that values personality above all else — charm, warmth, and a genuine love for people. Great service is a huge part of what we do, and we’re looking for someone who can bring both experience and energy to the role.

Your role will include:

• Preparing and serving specialty coffee, pastries, smoothies, açaí, & sandwiches
• Taking customer orders and operating the till
• Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and welcoming
• Restocking products and assisting with light food prep
• Opening / closing the shop

What we’re looking for:

• 1–2 years’ barista experience required
• Friendly and reliable, with good attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a busy customer-facing environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From €14.15 per hour
