Role Overview
The position of Whisky Collections & Warehouse Support is a highly organised and dynamic role. Responsible for assisting the Senior Collections and Logistics Co-ordinator with collections from sellers, ensuring smooth operation and efficiency in getting lots to our warehouse in Perth, Scotland, Utrecht, Netherlands and through our London Satellite Office. In addition, you will assist our Fulfilment Team in the effective and timely dispatch of auctions, along with other relevant fulfilment activities.

- Remote work with required travel to sites as needed.
Responsibilities
Collections
- Carrying out personal collections from customers across Europe.
- Safely operate the company/rental vehicles in accordance with country specific traffic laws and regulations and company policy.
- Safely loading into vehicles and transporting valuable goods from customers private and business properties and delivering to our office in the Netherlands.
- Liaising with customers on arrival, ensuring a pleasant and professional handover experience.
- Work closely with Collections & Logistics Team to ensure efficient and cost-effective route planning maximising logistical efficiencies.
- Assist with packing bottles on site for safe delivery.
- Ensure accurate record keeping and administration of collections and deliveries is kept and maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage timekeeping and autonomous decision making when driving and on-site collecting.
Vehicle Management
- Complete regular vehicle checks and submit regular maintenance and compliance checklists in accordance with company procedure.
- Ensure vehicles are road legal at all times.
- Report any damages or issues with the vehicles; assist with the organisation of any repairs/maintenance required with approved service providers.
- Keep vans clean and tidy.
Warehouse Assistance
- Set up and maintain accurate and timely Goods In records within Salesforce CRM to ensure all collections are traceable and management can track incoming goods efficiently.
- Set up collections on Salesforce and ensure records are kept up to date.
- Listing and authentication of items exhibited in monthly online and specialist auctions for Whisky and Rum Auctioneer.
- Assist with building improvement works.
Fulfilment Assistance
- Assist the fulfilment team in the dispatch of Whisky, Rum and Wine Auctions, where appropriate, helping to maintain our industry leading dispatch times.
- Accurate picking and packing of orders and goods for customers for dispatch and collections.
Requirements
Essential
- Full, clean driving licence please note due to insurance limitation only applicants of the age 21 and over, who have held their licence for a minimum of 12 months will be considered for this role.
- Proven ability to be client-focused: consistently delivering high-quality service.
- Strong IT skills with good proficiency using Microsoft software and CRMs.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication skills, effectively engage with customers.
- Adhering to GDPR, compliance and company policies and procedures.
Desirable
- Good general knowledge of whisky, rum, and wine, and and interest to learn.
- An understanding of the operations of online auctions.
Additional Info, Salary and Benefits
This is a permanent, Full time post . We are offering a starting salary of €32,000 (FTE). A Group Bonus Scheme exists based on trading performance.
Our office hours are 08:45 to 17:15, Monday to Friday.
Staff have the opportunity for training (e.g, WSET) and attending industry events and festivals. Support for any professional training requirements will be considered.
