Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Collision Centre Estimator to join our fast-paced automotive repair team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking collision repairs, responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage, preparing detailed estimates, and coordinating repair processes. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle is restored to manufacturer standards efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your automotive knowledge in a collaborative environment dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess collision impact and determine repair scope.
  • Prepare comprehensive auto estimates using industry-standard estimating software, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Communicate clearly with customers about repair procedures and timelines, providing exceptional service throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with technicians, body shop staff, and parts departments to coordinate repairs and ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of estimates, repair orders, and customer interactions in compliance with company policies.
  • Stay updated on automotive repair techniques, industry standards, and new vehicle technologies including transmissions, diesel engines, air brakes, suspension systems, and more.

Requirements

  • Preference will be given to applicants with previous estimating experience.
  • Proven dealership experience or auto service management background with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair processes.
  • Hands-on mechanic experience or automotive service technician background is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in auto estimating software and excellent service writing skills.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of automotive systems including brakes, shocks & struts, alignments, suspension components, tire services, diesel engines, and auto body repairs.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
