POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Collision Repair Service Writer to serve as the primary liaison between our customers and our repair team. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple repair estimates and timelines while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet customers and conduct thorough vehicle inspections to document damage
- Prepare accurate and detailed repair estimates using estimating software
- Communicate with insurance companies to review estimates, negotiate repairs, and obtain approvals
- Order OEM parts and materials necessary for repairs
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure repairs are completed on schedule and to quality standards
- Provide regular updates to customers regarding repair status and timelines
- Complete final quality inspections and vehicle walk-throughs with customers
- Maintain organized records and documentation for all repairs
- Handle customer concerns with professionalism and work toward satisfactory resolutions
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Required:

- Pride in workmanship and commitment to quality
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency with computers and ability to learn estimating software
- Valid driver's license
Preferred:
- Previous experience in collision repair, automotive service writing, or insurance estimating
- Knowledge of collision repair processes and terminology
SCHEDULE
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday
- Regular business hours (specific hours to be discussed during interview)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to walk around vehicles and conduct thorough inspections
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, and crouch to inspect vehicle damage
- Ability to occasionally move vehicles in and around the shop
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
