Job Title: COMBILIFT DRIVER / MOBILE PLANT OPERATOR
Location: Aclint, Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan
Contract: Full-Time: Monday to Friday (8 hour shift)
Hours of Work: 40 hours(Shift: 8 hours between 6.00 am – 5.00 pm)
(Occasional overtime if necessary, as per business need)
Salary Band: €18.00 - €20.00 per hour
Reports To: Supervisor
Skill Level: Skilled

Summary of Role
Responsible for transportation of product from production plant to stacking area, whilst operating Combi Lift multi directional Fork Lifts to handle, move and load precast concrete elements in a busy manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities
· Safely operate Forklift, Combi Lift multi-directions plant to transport large and heavy precast concrete products within the site
· Handle all product with due care and attention
· Load and off load delivery trucks with precast units, ensuring product safety and correct placement of product.
· Work closely with production and dispatch teams, to ensure timely movement of product as required.
· Assist in organising the yard to maximise space, efficiency and safety.
· Obey speed limits within site
· Carry out daily vehicle checks on plant
· Meet daily targets
· Ensure daily / weekly checklist are completed in relation to machines / processes
· Maintain high level of communication within department and across factory floor.
· Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure tasks are completed safely, consistently, and to the required quality standards.
· Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
· Wear and maintain appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while on site.
· Ensure all work meets established Quality standards, reporting any defects, issues, or non-conformances immediately.
· Support the company’s Environmental policies by minimising environmental impact and following correct waste disposal procedures.
· Work in accordance with relevant ISO standards and accreditations (e.g., quality, safety, and environmental management systems), to ensure standards are maintained.
· Maintain high levels of housekeeping to ensure work areas remain clean, organised, and risk free.
· Identify opportunities for reducing waste, improving efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
· Abide by company policies and procedures as outlined in Company Handbook.
· Undertake any other tasks requested by manager to successfully carry out this function within the Company.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills / Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
· Possess a Forklift License
· Possess a Combi Lift License
· Possess Abrasive Wheels Certificate
· Possess a Manual Handling Certificate
· Possess Gantry Crane Qualification
· Hold a full, clean driver’s license
Preferred Skills & Experience: (but not essential)
· Previous experience in manufacturing / production / agricultural / yard environment
· Familiar with handling large and awkward loads, preferably precast concrete or similar material.
· Previous experience in machine operation
· Ability to read and follow instructions, complete forms and record data
· Ability to follow Safe Operating Procedures, maintain product standards and identify defects
· Ability to manage efficiently and work under own supervision.
· Enthusiastic, flexible and responsive approach.
Other:
· Ability to speak fluent English
· Ability to commute or relocate local area
· Possess a valid work permit to work in the EU.
Physical Requirements:
· Physical role requiring lifting, standing, and operating equipment for extended periods.
· Ability to lift and carry as needed.
· Comfort with working at high altitudes, or other challenging environments.
