Duties

• Perform full-body repairs, including panel replacement, welding, sanding, and finishing to restore vehicles to factory specifications
• Assess damage accurately and develop effective repair plans to ensure efficient workflow
• Use specialized tools and equipment safely and effectively throughout the repair process
• Collaborate with estimators and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance, ensuring all repairs meet industry standards
• Document repair procedures thoroughly for record-keeping and future reference

Experience

• Proven experience as a Body Man or similar role within automotive repair shops or collision centers
• Strong knowledge of vehicle body structures, materials, and repair techniques
• Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and spray guns proficiently
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and explain repairs clearly
• Certifications such as I-CAR or ASE Body Repair Certification are highly desirable but not mandatory
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with precision

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per week
