Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial and Residential Painter to join our renovations team. This role involves preparing, painting, and finishing various interior and exterior surfaces on both residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting, renovation, and restoration projects, with the ability to work efficiently on diverse job sites in Metairie, New Orleans, and Northshore areas. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of handling a variety of tools and techniques to deliver high-quality results. Must have own transportation and tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, or repairing damaged areas using hand tools and power tools.
• Apply primers, paints, stains, and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces including walls, ceilings, trim, stucco, masonry, and fixtures.
• Perform drywall finishing as needed for renovation or restoration projects.
• Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety standards on job sites.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.

Experience

• Experience in residential painting as well as commercial painting projects.
• Hands-on experience
• Prior maintenance experience or skills in maintenance can be advantageous.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and estimations.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
