The Role

We’re looking for a driven B2B hunter to generate new commercial business. You’ll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing and onboarding new clients.

This is a highly active, field-based role -you’ll be meeting clients, walking sites, networking, and building relationships in person.

What You’ll Do

Business Development & Sales

  • Prospect and generate new leads through cold outreach, networking, and referrals
  • Identify and target commercial clients (property managers, property directors, businesses)
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting → meetings → proposals → closing → onboarding
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline

Client Relationships

  • Develop long-term relationships with decision-makers
  • Take a consultative, relationship-first sales approach
  • Ensure smooth hand-off of new clients to Account Managers

Field Activity

  • Attend in-person meetings, site visits, and industry events
  • Walk properties to assess scope and support accurate proposals
  • Represent MPS professionally in the market

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with operations to ensure realistic service commitments
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline tracking
  • Report on activity, pipeline, and results

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience
  • Experience in landscaping, snow removal, property services, or facilities management is a strong asset
  • Proven track record of closing deals and generating new business
  • Experience selling recurring or contract-based services is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
