Commercial Casework Sales Manager

Urban Cabinets Company produces and installs Casework and Countertops for Residential and Commercial projects. All of which are manufactured in our highly automated state-of-the-art facility in Woodinville.

We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual to help us expand our commercial division as our Commercial Casework Sales Manager & Estimator.

Currently about 70% of the work we do is Residential and 30% is Commercial. We have been fortunate enough that our Commercial work has been with the region’s leading companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Starbucks, Sellen Construction, Turner Construction, Walsh Construction, just to name a few.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and traits:

  • Knowledge of Commercial Casework (Reception Desks, Restaurant Casework and Countertops, Kiosks, Lunch Rooms and Break Rooms, Wall Paneling, Ceiling Grids)
  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
  • Ability to prioritize workflow to handle a diversity of tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of proficiency and aptitude with the latest technology.
  • Self-starter and highly motivated.

The responsibilities of the Commercial Casework Project Manager & Estimator are:

Analyze Project Documents: Review blueprints, architectural drawings, specifications, and other documentation to understand the scope of work and project requirements.

Cost Estimation and Proposal Preparation: Calculate the cost of materials, labor, and equipment needed for millwork projects. Develop detailed and itemized estimates. Prepare and submit detailed proposals and bid documents for potential projects.

Supplier, Vendor, and Subcontractor Coordination: Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive rates. Coordination with the suppliers, vendors, subcontractors during the project

Client Interaction: Be the primary point of contact. Communicate with clients to clarify project details and requirements. Provide professional advice on millwork materials, finishes, and methods. Meet with clients at job sites. Outreach to new potential clients.

Project Tracking: Provide and manage the submittal process. Track changes in project scope of work. Provide accounting with updated estimates and schedules to ensure timely and accurate billing. Manage subcontractors. Maintain accurate records. In Summary, you will be responsible for managing the project from the start to the finish.

Work is primarily performed in an office setting. Occasionally, you may need to go out into the field for site visits or client meetings.
