Job Summary

Commercial Cleaning Team needed in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Temporary full-time position, 8 AM to 5 PM Mon-Fri. We're hiring a team of 4 commercial cleaners (# between 1-4 varies by day) to start Monday, August 10th. Pay is $25/hour per person. This is a short-term contract for the next couple of weeks, with the possibility of extending. Apply now to join our cleaning crew.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
• Operate floor buffers, polishers, and other custodial tools to maintain floors in excellent condition through buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely by following all chemical handling safety procedures and safety protocols to protect yourself and others.
• Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, furniture moving, and equipment setup while adhering to safe lifting practices.
• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and ensuring overall cleanliness in compliance with health regulations.
• Support facilities maintenance activities as needed, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests or concerns and ensuring a positive experience during your service.

Requirements

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or residential setting with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools.
• Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on sanitation standards and safety protocols adherence.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance or Porter roles is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
