Commercial Diver

The company is seeking to recruit a Commercial diver to join our West of Ireland Dive team.

The successful candidate will report directly to our Subsea Operations Manager and will have the opportunity to progress within our Seawater department.

The role will be full time, permanent and will be based in Cloughmore, Co. Mayo or with routine travel to and between Mowi Ireland site locations along the South-West coast of Ireland.

His/Her main functions will include:

Inspection & repairs of underwater fittings, moorings of cages & boats, nets and weights.

• Removal and recording of mortalities.
• Reporting stock statistics and site activities.
• Logging of all activities as per standard diving procedures and training.
• Ensuring that all Dive equipment is maintained & disinfected in accordance with company policy.
• Marine Operative duties.

To be successful in the above role, successful candidates should possess:

• Qualified to a minimum of HSE part 4 or equivalent.
• Hold an in date Diving medical and a valid First Aid+O2 administration Certificate.
• Experience working in and around the Diving industry would be a plus.
• Good communication, organisational and planning skills.
• Sense of responsibility, initiative, and high-quality work standard.
• Teamwork and strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of fish husbandry, biology and fish welfare would be a bonus but not essential as training will be given.
