Job Title: Commercial Electrical Estimator (ICI)

Location: Vancouver, BC

Salary: Based on experience

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Estimator to join their team and support industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and assisting with competitive bidding.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate estimates and bids for commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects

Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to define project scope

Utilize Accubid and LiveCount software to perform takeoffs and develop estimates

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project requirements

Evaluate labor, material, and subcontractor costs to ensure accurate and competitive pricing

Prepare and submit tender documents and proposals within deadlines

Support value engineering initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator on ICI projects

Proficiency with Accubid and LiveCount (required)

Strong knowledge of electrical codes, construction practices, and technical drawings

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment

Journeyman Electrician certification or related background is an asset
