About the Opportunity
Green Energy Supplies is hiring on behalf of Solify, a fast-growing clean energy company, for individuals looking to start or grow their careers in commercial business development within the energy and sustainability sector.
Solify works with commercial property owners, business operators, and investors to reduce operating costs and transition to high-efficiency energy systems, including solar, HVAC, and full net-zero upgrades.
About the Role
We are hiring Commercial Growth Specialists (Entry-Level) to support company growth by engaging with business owners and decision-makers to generate qualified opportunities.
This is a lead generation role (not closing sales). You will be responsible for initiating conversations, qualifying commercial prospects, and booking high-value appointments for senior consultants.
High-performing individuals will have the opportunity to transition into closing roles, working directly on commercial deals with significantly higher ticket sizes.
This role is best suited for individuals who are competitive, confident, and motivated by performance-based income, and who are looking to build real experience in B2B sales.
Training & Work Structure
- A mandatory two-week in-person training period is required at the start of employment
- Training includes structured onboarding, product knowledge, sales training, and hands-on prospecting
- Following successful completion, there may be an opportunity to transition into a hybrid or remote structure based on performance
What You’ll Do
- Conduct outbound calls to business owners and commercial decision-makers using provided and self-generated leads
- Introduce Solify’s commercial energy solutions and generate interest
- Qualify prospects based on property type, energy usage, and project viability
- Book appointments for senior commercial consultants
- Maintain detailed records of activity in CRM systems
- Follow up with warm leads and nurture opportunities
- Maintain a professional, confident, and results-driven approach
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking with business owners and executives
- Highly motivated with a performance-driven mindset
- Resilient, coachable, and able to handle rejection
- Punctual, reliable, and accountable
- Previous experience in sales, B2B outreach, or call centres is an asset (not required)
Compensation
- Base salary starting at $50,000 per year + performance-based commission
- Commission paid on qualified appointments and deal outcomes
- High performers have the potential to exceed $100,000+ annually
- Clear pathway to transition into Commercial Closer roles with increased earning potential
