Daoust Vukovich LLP is a boutique Toronto law firm focused on commercial leasing, real estate, and litigation. Over the past 30 years, DV has established itself as a go-to firm for clients who acquire, develop, and use commercial real estate. The firm has a clear sense of vision and a best-in-class practice and management approach. We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Leasing Legal Assistant.

Responsibilities

· Process and revise electronic documents, edit, and prepare blacklining.

· Docket entry, pre-bill, and account preparation using Soluno.

· Practice management, including appointment scheduling and arranging conference calls.

· Apply proofreading and editing skills to documents and correspondence.

· Digital and physical file management and keeping clerks/lawyers apprised of matters.

· Perform other duties as required to achieve firm objectives.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

· Fluent written and spoken English.

· Strong communication skills

· A post-secondary education

· Law firm experience is preferred

· Some knowledge of corporate or commercial leasing transactions or a strong willingness to learn.

· Familiarity with various legal documents including agreements, leases, letters, etc.

· Extensive experience with MS Office

· Some experience with Litera Compare, and Soluno

This position will be working in the office full time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
