About the role:
Law Offices of Alan M. Cohen & Associates LLC is looking for a Litigation Attorney preferably with over 7 years of commercial litigation (preferably collections and construction law) experience to join our team in Framingham, MA with substantial non-small claims trial experience preferred. This position has room for potential growth for the right candidate. You should be detail oriented and be able to work well with others in a team environment. Candidate preferably should have portable billings and existing clients and must be covid vaccinated and non-smoking. Pay commensurate with experience, ability and verifiable portable billings .
Responsibilities:
- Drafting, filing pleadings, motions;
- Court appearances arguing in support of motions or opposing motions;
- Preparing discovery and other legal documents;
- Communicating with clients, witnesses, courts, sheriff's and other attorneys;
- Investigating and analyzing client accounts;
- Investigating client’s claims;
- Managing client files and accounts;
- Trying bench and jury cases all courts;
- All other aspects of civil litigation in state and federal courts;
- Managing personnel
