Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems including piping, fixtures, valves, and pumps on construction sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and repairs.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools safely and effectively.
• Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for pipe installation, assembly, remodeling projects, and site setup.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues early and implement effective solutions promptly.
• Follow safety protocols rigorously while working on construction sites to ensure a secure environment for yourself and others.
• Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to coordinate work schedules and project milestones.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction plumbing practices and techniques in commercial settings. Journeyman license preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, HVAC systems diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and schematics interpretation.
• Familiarity with construction site safety standards and procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to piping layouts.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installations or repairs.
• Hands-on experience with remodeling projects or handyman tasks is a plus; familiarity with carpentry or assembly work is beneficial.
