Commercial Project Manager

Company Overview: We are a leading interior design firm specializing in commercial spaces, dedicated to delivering innovative and functional design solutions. Our projects range from corporate offices to retail environments, and we pride ourselves on our ability to understand and meet client needs while adhering to budget and timelines.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Interior Project Manager to oversee all phases of our commercial interior design projects. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of design expertise, project management skills, and a strong understanding of the construction process. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans that outline timelines, resources, and budget.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring all expenditures align with financial constraints while maximizing value for clients.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including designers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication to provide updates on project status, address concerns, and incorporate feedback.
  • Design Oversight: Collaborate with design teams to develop creative concepts that meet client specifications. Ensure that design solutions are practical, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Site Management: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality of work, and adherence to safety standards. Address any issues that arise promptly.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation including contracts, change orders, meeting notes, and progress reports. Ensure all necessary approvals are obtained throughout the project.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct final inspections to ensure all work meets quality standards before client handover. Gather client feedback post-project completion for continuous improvement.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $3,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month

Supplemental Pay:

  • Commission pay
  • Performance bonus

Experience:

  • Interior design: 3 years (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
