COMMERCIAL TRUCK TIRE DEPARTMENT MANAGER

Niagara Battery & Tire is a trusted provider of commercial truck tire sales and service. We are committed to delivering reliable products, exceptional service, and efficient fleet solutions to our customers. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Truck Tire Department Manager to lead our commercial division.

Position Summary

The Commercial Truck Tire Department Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the commercial tire department, managing staff, maintaining inventory, driving sales growth, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership, industry knowledge, and operational management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all daily operations of the commercial truck tire department
  • Supervise, train, and schedule technicians and service staff
  • Ensure high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer service
  • Build and maintain relationships with commercial fleet customers
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the commercial division
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, purchasing, and vendor relationships
  • Oversee billing, quotes, and profitability of the department
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
  • Track performance metrics and report on department performance

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial truck tire sales and service
  • Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of commercial truck tires, retreading, and fleet service operations
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in estimating, invoicing, and inventory management systems
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
