Summary
We are seeking a solution and result oriented Commissioning Engineer to strengthen our Marine field service and commissioning team in Finland. As a Service Engineer your responsibilities are commissioning, installation, preventive and breakdown services of HI-FOG water mist fire suppression systems globally. The role requires travelling around 180 days per year mainly in Europe and in USA.

This position reports directly to the Service & Aftermarket Manager - Finland, Marioff Marine, collaborating with the Service & Commissioning Engineers from different service teams Finland, Italy, Spain, Singapore, USA and China.

Key responsibilities

  • HI-FOG® fire suppression system commissioning
  • Participation in field maintenance and service activities
  • Reporting & documentation of services
  • Collaboration with other project team members

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Vocational school education – electrical or automation focus
  • Preferably a few years of experience with electrical engineering installations and maintenance
  • Knowledge of electrical automation technology due to education or work experience
  • Willingness to travel frequently, category B driver’s license
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Great communication skills and customer orientated attitude
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

Although not necessary, it would be an advantage:

  • Marine industry experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical and/or automation engineering
  • Experience from HI-FOG systems
  • Experience with PLC (Siemens / Mitsubishi)
  • Finnish language knowledge
  • Life Saving business experience
