Location: Hybrid based out of our Romsey office
Position Overview:
The Comms Network and Connectivity Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of communication and connectivity service installations. This role ensures timely and efficient delivery of projects while meeting customer requirements. The position involves managing a team, coordinating with others, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Network & Connectivity Installation Management
Plan, schedule and oversee the installation of network and connectivity services.
Collaborate with clients, vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Develop and execute detailed installation plans, addressing timelines, resource allocation and risk management.
Configure broadband hardware and manage customer broadband issues
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a team of provisioning coordinators, ensuring high-quality performance and training on technologies.
Support installation teams during project planning and execution.
Monitor team progress and maintain service excellence.
Customer Interaction
Act as the primary client contact throughout the installation process, addressing concerns and providing updates.
Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality results.
Resource Management
Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment and materials, to meet project demands.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Implement quality control measures to ensure installations meet industry and company standards.
Conduct post-installation inspections and enforce compliance with regulatory requirements.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain detailed records of installation activities, resource usage and project timelines.
Prepare regular status reports for senior management and document procedures for continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Stay informed on advancements in communication and connectivity technologies and integrate innovations.
Vendor Management
Ensure vendors comply with contracts, legal obligations and industry standards.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and resolve issues promptly.
Build strategic vendor partnerships to foster innovation and cost reduction.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven expertise in communication and connectivity systems installation management.
Strong leadership, problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective client and team interaction.
In-depth knowledge of industry standards and telecommunications regulations.
Work Environment:
Occasional travel between company sites.
Work settings may vary between office environments and client locations.
