About the Role:
Join Curtin as a Communications Coordinator (Short-Form Learning) and play a pivotal role in showcasing the innovative work of the Centre for Learning Enterprise & Partnership Engagement (CLEPE).
In this dynamic role, you’ll plan, develop and deliver high-impact communication, marketing and engagement initiatives that raise awareness of Curtin’s Short Form Learning programs and offerings.
Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the University and beyond, you’ll help build CLEPE’s brand, connect with target audiences, and promote the success of microcredentials, professional learning and other short-form programs. You’ll create compelling content and campaigns across multiple channels, using both traditional and digital media to inspire engagement and celebrate the achievements of this innovative area.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop, implement and drive comprehensive communication and engagement strategies that promote the University’s Short Form Learning initiatives and offerings.
- Create, edit and manage high-quality content across a range of channels, including web, social media, print and other digital platforms.
- Redesign and enhance CLEPE’s brand and engagement strategy to increase awareness and recognition of Short Form Learning activities and achievements.
- Collaborate with key University stakeholders to ensure content effectively supports the success of micro-credentials, professional learning and other short-form programs.
- Plan and deliver events and functions that showcase and celebrate Short Form Learning initiatives.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies, identifying opportunities to strengthen engagement and impact.
- A relevant degree in communications, public relations, marketing or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- A proven ability to plan, implement and evaluate effective communications and engagement strategies.
- Experience managing digital communication channels and web content to ensure consistency and impact.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively, build rapport and develop constructive relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate and engaging materials for diverse audiences.
- Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to set priorities, manage competing deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
- Knowledge of higher education, microcredentials, or professional learning (desirable).
- As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered
