Introduction:
About Spiire
At Spiire, our purpose is simple: to better the communities we live and work within, create opportunities for our staff and clients and deliver value to all stakeholders.
We are an integrated team of passionate civil engineers, landscape architects, surveyors, town planners, urban designers and water engineers providing consultancy services to the property and infrastructure sectors. Our team of more than 350 people work across ten offices in VIC, NSW, SA, QLD and the ACT.
Description:
The Opportunity
We are looking for a perceptive storyteller to help showcase what sets Spiire apart.
You will boost the communications capacity of our high-performing Marketing team, supporting the Communications Specialist to plan, identify and articulate engaging content.
You will build relationships with stakeholders across the Spiire network to seek out the stories that matter, recognise how they align with business objectives, and tell them in a way that resonates with different audiences in our B2B environment.
This role will see you:
Collaborate with key staff and stakeholders to understand and support the communications needs of business units, practice areas, offices, and the wider business.
Develop a deep understanding of business operations and unique selling points to create authentic and compelling narratives that build brand awareness.
Plan, produce, and publish content across external channels, including websites, social media industry award submissions and tender submissions.
Assist the Communications Specialist in identifying content opportunities that align with the Marketing team’s Group Plan and strategic goals.
Contribute to the overall success of the Marketing team through ad hoc support for other marketing initiatives as required.
About You
This is the ideal role for someone who understands how content supports an organisation’s marketing objectives. You are looking to refine your existing communications skillset within a dynamic, agile team that thrives on variety in their work and isn’t afraid to flex from task to task to achieve common outcomes. You pride yourself on your ability to build enduring relationships with stakeholders and make complex information more accessible.
You will come to us with:
A tertiary qualification in communications or a related discipline
Experience delivering clear, engaging communications in a professional environment, including for corporate websites, social media and marketing collateral
A discerning eye for a good story and keen understanding of brand messaging
Strong stakeholder management, relationship building and interviewing skills, with the ability to ask curious questions
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work while taking initiative and ownership of tasks within the role
Experience with WordPress, Google Analytics and Adobe Suite is desirable
Our Culture
At Spiire, we believe our culture is our difference. We’re a forward-thinking, people-centric organisation that recognises the importance of working as one team towards a common goal. As a successful and growing employee-owned business, we recognise and reward the contributions of our people and provide real opportunities and pathways for career progression.
Here’s a snapshot of what’s on offer:
Structured internal training programs, knowledge sharing forums and mentoring opportunities
An awesome CBD office that emanates our corporate value of fun! Includes a breakfast bar, table tennis, happy hour the last Friday of every month, creative spaces and a wellness room
Health and wellbeing events promoting physical and mental wellbeing
An extension of leave benefits including study leave, volunteer days and attractive parental leave policy
