About The Position
Location: Peterborough
Status: Part Time FTE 0.6
Closing Date for Applications: 16th August 2025
The Community Hub is a community facility that hosts numerous programs including Food Co-Op, education/support groups and Community Events/activities.
As the Community Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the Community Hub, including providing supervision and guidance to the centre volunteers, liaising with centre users and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
In addition, you will be required to increase the participation of the Hub by local community members, community groups and organisations, including increasing revenue of the centre in line with funding and budget expectations.

Skills and Experiences:
You will:
- Have relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in the community services sector.
- Have a high level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Have demonstrated experience leading a team.
- Be flexible and creative.
- Have a commitment to social justice, empowerment and self-determination principles.
- A current Australian Drivers Licence.
- Two (2) years or more relevant experience, in a paid or voluntary capacity.
- A Certificate lV (or above) in a Human Services related discipline.
