About the Role
As Adult Community Mental Health Clinician, you will provide recovery oriented community mental health assessment, therapeutic intervention and case management to adults experiencing mental illness, within a multidisciplinary team. You will deliver evidence based, consumer centred care while working collaboratively with families, carers and partner services in line with legislation and professional standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering comprehensive mental health assessments, triage and evidence based therapeutic interventions to adults in a community setting.
- Providing case management within a recovery oriented framework, supporting consumers to achieve meaningful health and wellbeing outcomes.
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and liaising effectively with consumers, carers, families and external service providers.
- Ensuring care delivery complies with relevant legislation, policies and professional standards, including the NSW Mental Health Act.
- Participating in crisis intervention, care planning and risk management, maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Contributing to continuous professional development, clinical supervision and service improvement, while upholding NSW Health CORE values. Your contribution as a healthcare professional will have a meaningful and positive impact, which is felt at a community level.

Remuneration: $74,317.94 - $ 117,755.00 per annum pro rata (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)

What We’re Looking For:
- Relevant tertiary qualification with registration or professional peak body eligibility.
- Recent experience in community or acute mental health
- Strong understanding of mental health practices, such as recovery oriented care, shared care models, and consumer, family and carer focused approaches.
- Sound understanding of mental health legislation Excellent communication and personal skills
