Job Overview
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Performance monthly bonus - 1,000 to 3,000
We are seeking an energetic, professional, and self-motivated Community Outreach & Business Development Representative to help grow our referral network throughout Hampton Roads. This individual will represent Royal Family Services in the community, establish relationships with referral partners, and educate organizations about our substance abuse treatment programs.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys networking, building relationships, and making a positive impact in the community.
Responsibilities
- Visit referral partners daily, including hospitals, Community Services Boards (CSBs), probation and parole offices, correctional facilities, drug courts, physicians’ offices, homeless shelters, and recovery residences.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with discharge planners, case managers, social workers, counselors, and community leaders.
- Deliver marketing materials, brochures, referral packets, and program information.
- Schedule meetings and presentations with community organizations.
- Educate referral sources on Royal Family Services’ programs and admission process.
- Follow up with existing referral partners to strengthen relationships.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and referrals.
- Attend networking events, health fairs, and community outreach events.
- Work closely with the admissions team to ensure a smooth referral process.
- Meet weekly outreach goals and performance expectations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in healthcare marketing, behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, case management, social services, or business development preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and in the community.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email.
