Our incredible team is a blend of passionate staff and volunteers who champion diversity, inclusivity, and understanding. We hail from diverse walks of life, forming a vibrant community of change-makers. Our ultimate goal? To amplify awareness of LGBTQ+ matters and advocate for the rights that ensure equal lives for all.

With a diverse and dedicated year-round team of around 150 volunteers, we orchestrate Pride in London, the incredible event that unites us all. Your unique voice can contribute to the symphony!

Your Role

Pride in London is looking for an enthusiastic and community-focused individual to take on the role of Community & Outreach Lead. In this role, you’ll oversee engagement on our social platforms, strengthen Pride in London’s connection with its community, and ensure our platforms are maintained as safe, inclusive spaces.

Your Team

You’ll work closely with the Head of Social Media and a copywriter to promote Pride in London’s social platforms as vibrant hubs of community representation and interaction.

Your Responsibilities

• Engage directly with followers across platforms, fostering meaningful conversations and adapting tone and format for each platform and audience.
• Gather insights and report on trending topics using social listening tools, informing content creation and better meeting the needs of our community.
• Build and maintain relationships with Pride in London ambassadors, LGBTQ+ influencers, and activists, aligning their efforts with our campaigns to maximise reach and impact.

What You’ll Bring to Pride in London

• Strong understanding of social media platforms, community engagement strategies, and influencer outreach.
• Interpersonal skills to promote external communications and relationship building.
• Experience in advocacy or community management is a plus. A passion for amplifying LGBTQ+ voices is essential.
