The Songwriter Music College / FM Pop Music School

The Songwriter Music College and FM Pop Music School, the education arms of Funkie Monkies Music, are leading music institutions specialising in Songwriting, offering higher education and enrichment courses to equip both professionals and hobbyists with the skills and industry connection to break into the international music industry, through the Funkie Monkies music ecosystem. The other arms of Funkie Monkies Music include music publishing, music production, artist management and music distribution.

We are seeking a proven candidate for the role of Compliance and Administration Manager, who will be responsible for the overall operations of the business. The incumbent will lead the compliance, academic administration, and student service functions.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Compliance

  • Management Representative (MR) for The Songwriter Music College
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with PEI-ERF and EduTrust requirements
  • Manage, review and enforce internal policies/processes across function(s)
  • Support the Academic and Examination Boards in all review processes through feedback and data
  • Curate, schedule, and deliver relevant internal training on regulatory matters

Academic Administration

  • Oversee new learner pre-enrolment formalities and onboarding activities, including orientation
  • Oversee and execute international enrolment formalities, including pass application
  • Oversee college scheduling, learning resource management, and venue management

Student Service

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage adjunct faculty registration and deployment matters
  • Oversee core student functions related to admissions, attrition, delivery, and payment
  • Oversee, facilitate and review academic intervention, complaints and feedback
  • Manage and review service quality through tech-enablement and data-driven metrics
  • Manage and ensure the serviceability of college facilities and learning resources
  • Event management for both internal and external activities

Requirements, to succeed in this role:

  • Min. 3 years of relevant experience in a PEI or related environment
  • Must have EduTrust 4-years attainment and/or renewal experience
  • Analytical and systems-focused approach to problem solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-driven, Independent, Innate sense of responsibility
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, or equivalent

Pay: $4,500.00 - $5,500.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • PEI: 3 years (Preferred)
  • ERF/EduTrust: 3 years (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
