A Computer Teacher is responsible for teaching students the fundamentals of computer science, digital literacy, and practical technology skills. The role includes lesson planning, classroom management, and helping students develop both theoretical and hands-on knowledge of computers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach basic to advanced computer concepts (depending on grade level)
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons on topics like:
- Computer fundamentals (hardware & software)
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Internet usage and safety
- Basic programming (Scratch, Python, etc.)
- Conduct practical sessions in the computer lab
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments
- Evaluate students’ performance and provide feedback
- Maintain discipline in the classroom and lab
- Ensure proper use and care of computer equipment
- Stay updated with new technology trends and teaching methods
- Assist in school IT-related activities if required
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / BCA / B.Tech or related field
- B.Ed. (preferred for school teaching roles)
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of computers and basic programming
- Good communication and teaching skills
- Classroom management ability
- Patience and adaptability
- Basic troubleshooting skills
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
