Summary:
Primary function is to inspect, test and record information of material received from clients. This includes PC, laptops, printers, servers, network equipment, monitors and other computer and electronics. The technician will also assist in general warehouse duties.
Responsibilities include:
- Entering data regarding material specifications into the company’s software program. This includes manufacturer, model specification, serial numbers and other information as required.
- Ability to configure computers, laptops, and servers as per client requirements.
- Assist in loading, unloading, and securing equipment
- Assist in general warehouse duties
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
-Good knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT industry.
-Computer proficiency is a must.
-Ability to regularly stand, lift, bend, stretch, reach above the head, and kneel during a shift assignment that could last between 8 and 14 hours.
-Ability to safely use material handling tools and equipment and to push and pull wheeled dollies and/or carts with freight containing up to 100 lbs or more during a shift assignment that could last between 8 and 14 hours.
-Ability to safely palletize, load, transfer, and unload pallets and skids (must be able to regularly lift, up to 85 pounds).
-Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, detail and deadline sensitive environment.
-Excellent communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) and listening skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
