As a Computer Technician / IT Consultant, you will provide remote support to our clients and internal team, ensuring smooth and secure IT operations. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage a variety of support requests in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience working in an MSP or MSSP environment is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional remote IT support for clients and internal systems, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime
- Handle a wide variety of IT support tickets across multiple client environments, including hardware, software, networking, and security issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and endpoint security issues
- Handle support tickets with professionalism and efficiency
- Perform workstation setups, replacements, and general IT environment maintenance
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and professionalism
- Candidates must demonstrate a high level of reliability, professionalism, and clear communication in both team and client-facing environments.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands-on IT support experience, with preferably 2+ years working in an MSP or MSSP environment supporting multiple client environments
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, switching, wireless) with the ability to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues
- Familiarity with remote monitoring and management (RMM) platforms and professional ticketing systems
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration and user lifecycle management
- Demonstrated ability to own and resolve complex support tickets with minimal escalation
- Strong documentation skills for ticketing, knowledge base, and process improvement
- Excellent client-facing communication skills: able to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical users
- Proven track record of reliability and strong communication skills in both remote and in-person technical support environments.
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications
- CompTIA certifications such as Security+ or Network+
- Hands-on experience with RMM platforms, ideally Kaseya VSA
- Experience with endpoint protection and EDR tools, preferably Sophos
- Familiarity with multi-factor authentication and identity tools such as Duo
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices in compliance-driven environments (NIST, etc.)

Compensation Package:
- Salary Range: $28.00-$31.00 per hour
- Bonus Opportunities for high performance.
- Overtime Pay as required.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
- On-call rotation for escalations
- Occasional off-hours work for migrations and security incidents
