Concession Manager

CONCESSION MANAGER - POSITION OVERVIEW

This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of the concession area

in accordance with general company and departmental policies and

while ensuring the efficient operation of all sales

administrative functions of the dealership area.

The main objective of this role is to improve the commercial performance of the

dealership, increasing turnover and maximising profitability.

The main elements of the job on a day-to-day basis include personnel management,

finding new ways to improve sales and maximise floor space, and

meeting customer demand.

Comparative shop growth

Comparative in-store sales to other franchises

Payroll control

Inventory management

Responsibility for acceptable inventory results through effective stock

management.

Analysis of sales data and forecasting future sales to maximise profits;

Addressing team issues: conducting interviews with potential candidates,

performance appraisals and evaluations and providing or organising training

and development for the team.

Ensuring quality, customer service and health and safety standards are

Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail sector, understanding

forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what other franchises

competitors are doing.

Initiate changes and communicate ideas to the regional manager to

to improve the business and ensure that the concession business can compete

effectively in the local brand

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in customer service-focused retail operations

An understanding of both retail and department store operations

Strong interpersonal communication skills
