About the Role

As Concierge Porter, you will be an important part of the Front Office team, responsible for welcoming guests, assisting with luggage, and ensuring the hotel entrance and lobby areas are welcoming, organised, and well presented.

You will act as a visible and professional presence at the hotel entrance, greeting guests as they arrive and helping to ensure the entrance area remains comfortable and appropriate for guests at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests arriving at and departing from the hotel
• Ensure the entrance and surrounding areas remain suitable and comfortable for guests
• Politely manage situations where non-guests may gather near the hotel entrance
• Assist guests with luggage and escort guests to rooms where required
• Maintain a visible and welcoming presence in the hotel lobby and entrance area
• Assist guests with transport arrangements including taxis and directions
• Provide information about hotel facilities and local attractions
• Ensure the hotel entrance, lobby and guest areas remain clean and well presented
• Support the Front Office team during busy arrival and departure periods
• Deliver a high standard of guest service at all times

About You

• Friendly, approachable and professional in manner
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Smart and professional presentation
• Reliable and able to work well in a busy hospitality environment
• Previous experience in hospitality, hotels, concierge, or customer-facing roles

The ideal candidate will be confident, observant and comfortable maintaining a visible presence at the hotel entrance while delivering excellent guest service.
