Overview
We are seeking 1 dedicated Concrete Carpenters to join our construction team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for "STRUCTURAL" Curb work and various concrete-related tasks, ensuring the successful completion of projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and familiarity with construction tools and techniques. MUST HAVES: Experience in concrete forming & finishing, masonry, rebar installation, and blueprint reading is highly valued. Project starting 1 week of June - 4/5 months.

Responsibilities

  • Concrete forming, pouring, and finishing to ensure smooth and durable surfaces
  • Install rebar and other reinforcement materials according to schematics and blueprints
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform masonry work including restoration and flooring installation as needed
  • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to execute project specifications
  • Conduct caulking, welding, and other related tasks to support construction activities
  • Assist in the setup of forms and molds for concrete structures
  • Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment to support project progress
  • Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
  • Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during construction activities

Experience

  • Excellence in all things concrete work is mandatory
  • Rebar installation, masonry, carpentry
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings effectively
  • Experience with welding or renovation projects can be beneficial but is not required
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during work shifts, outdoor work
  • MUST HAVE your own FULL PPE, Hard Hat, Steel toe boots and steel toe Rubber boots,
  • Very skilled with hand tools, power tools, and skid steer equipment operation is desirable
  • MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: MUST HAVE OWN VEHICLE and VALID Driver's license
  • Safety Tickets: CSTS/WHMIS, 1ST AID
  • PAY Depending on IF A RED SEAL JOURNEYMAN and/or experience $34-$39.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00-$39.00 per hour
