We are currently seeking motivated Concrete Labourers to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various concrete tasks, such as grading, forming, and removals, alongside our skilled Concrete Masons. If you’re eager to learn and have a strong work ethic, we want you to apply!

Responsibilities

• Assist in removals, grading, and preparation of sites for concrete pours.
• Help set forms for pouring concrete based on existing structures or survey points.
• Assist with the installation of steel reinforcement when required.
• Support the installation and repair of curbs, sidewalks, and other concrete structures.
• Help apply finishes to the concrete structures (broom, trowel, stamped, etc.).
• Assist in applying curing compounds or other surface treatments when required.
• Ensure concrete placement meets all design specifications and project requirements.
• Work collaboratively with team members and management to complete projects on time.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Adhere to safety policies and SWPs on-site.
• Use equipment safely and responsibly, performing basic maintenance when necessary.

General Requirements

• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as required.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols and SWPs in construction.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation, provide driver abstract.

Concrete Labourer Requirements

• Previous experience in the construction field, particularly concrete-related tasks, is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of concrete materials, tools, and equipment.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Level 1 or 2 First Aid Certificate or willingness to pursue.
