Role Overview

The Concrete Pump Operator will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and cleaning a concrete pump, as well as coordinating effectively with site personnel to ensure timely and efficient delivery of concrete. This individual will play a vital part in meeting project targets and maintaining the company’s reputation for reliability and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating concrete pumping machinery safely and efficiently according to established guidelines and regulations.
• Assessing site conditions, setting up equipment properly, and ensuring a safe work area.
• Monitoring equipment performance, identifying issues, and performing basic maintenance tasks.
• Communicating effectively with site supervisors, ground workers, and clients to maintain smooth operations.
• Accurately recording pumping activities, including volumes and timeframes.
• Adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards, taking prompt action to address potential hazards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Concrete Pump Operator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• A valid CSCS card or equivalent certification.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices for pumping operations.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Physical fitness and the capacity to work in demanding environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
