Join our award-winning team at Harvey's Point Hotel as Conference & Banqueting Manager. This is an important position working closely with the F&B Manager to ensure the exceptional delivery of high quality food and service to our guests.

About Harvey’s Point

Harvey’s Point is a 4 star luxury Donegal hotel set in the idyllic surroundings of Lough Eske with the Bluestack mountains in the background.

The hotel has been at the forefront of the luxury hotel scene for over 30 years and comprises of 101 beautiful bedrooms offering breathtaking scenery at every turn.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, organisation, and management of all conference and banqueting activities, including weddings and Sunday Carvery lunch
  • Ensure all events are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Manage room setups, audio-visual needs, catering, and service timelines.
  • Lead and motivate the banqueting team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Encourage teamwork and maintain strong working relationships with other hotel departments, such as the Kitchen.
  • Develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring profitability and cost control.

About The Role

Candidate Requirements:

  • 2-3 years as manager/supervisor in a 4 star deluxe or 5 star environment.
  • Have a strong understanding of Food & Beverage concepts and concept development and delivery.
  • Experienced in dealing with high volume food & beverage operation.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
