We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Conference Events Manager to join our senior management team. This role is central to the planning, coordination, and delivery of exceptional events across our venues. From high-energy concerts and lively festivals to corporate gatherings and banquets, you will ensure every event is flawlessly executed from concept to completion.

This role is ideal for a senior hotel manager seeking a new challenge or an experienced events professional ready to take the next step in their career.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

1. Event Planning & Coordination

  • Lead advance planning and coordination of all events across Gleneagle venues.
  • Liaise with clients and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics and seamless execution.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships, permit applications, and stakeholder communications.
  • Develop and oversee event budgets, staff rosters, deployment schedules, and detailed event plans.
  • Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety (H&S), legislative, and ISO standards.

2. Event Delivery

  • Oversee and manage live event operations, acting as Event Controller for major Arena events.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental teams to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Act as the primary on-site contact for event stakeholders and clients during events.

3. Venue Maintenance & Safety

  • Oversee the preventative maintenance and operational readiness of the Gleneagle Arena and associated venues.
  • Ensure safety compliance and risk management protocols are upheld for all events, safeguarding staff, performers, and patrons.

    4. Festival Development & Execution

    • Coordinate, plan, and deliver a calendar of festivals throughout the year.

    • Play a key role in conceptualizing and launching new festival experiences.

      Candidate Profile

      Essential:

      • Minimum of 4 years’ experience managing large-scale entertainment and/or corporate events.

      • Proven track record of leadership and effective team management.
      • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
      • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and administrative processes.
      • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain calm under pressure.
      • In-depth knowledge of H&S regulations and risk management in a live event environment.

      Desirable:

      • Level 7 qualification in Event Management or a related field.
      • Experience working within a hospitality or multi-venue setting.
