Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Superintendent to join our team in New Jersey. This full-time position is crucial for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and proficiency in various construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Manage project scheduling, including coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to blueprints and schematics.
• Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring all expenditures are tracked and reported accurately.
• Collaborate with project managers to review contracts and ensure all contractual obligations are met.
• Provide leadership and supervision to construction teams, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
• Implement OSHA safety standards on-site to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Utilize tools such as HeavyBid for accurate construction estimating and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of project scheduling and budgeting.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices on construction sites.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills along with the ability to interpret schematics effectively.
• Previous experience in supervising teams within the construction industry is essential.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct quality control assessments throughout the project lifecycle.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
