About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to join our dynamic team in Christchurch. This role involves overseeing various construction projects across the region, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You'll lead, mentor, and manage a team to achieve exceptional outcomes in civil construction.
Essential Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a construction supervisory role, preferably within civil construction.
- Proven ability to read, interpret and follow construction plans accurately.
- Extensive knowledge of operating construction machinery.
- Class 2 driving licence with WTR endorsements; Class 4 is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction teams, ensuring high productivity and quality standards.
- Manage onsite health and safety to maintain a safe work environment.
- Effectively communicate project progress to site team.
- Coordinate the work of subcontractors and temporary workforce.
- Prepare project documentation, including quality plans and adherence to traffic management plans.
