Construction Laborer

Overview
We are looking to expand our labor force! Fully insured company registered with WSIB seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment or alone.

Requirements

• Working at Heights license
• Must have own vehicle
• punctuality

Duties

• Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up/taking down necessary equipment.
• Perform manual labor tasks such as carrying materials, climbing / operating a ladder.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols on the job site.

Experience

• Experience in Roofing/Shingling, Eavestroughing, Soffit, and Facia installation
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
