About Us:

Beams & Dream Construction Services is a growing construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality projects while ensuring safety and compliance with Australian standards. We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee site operations, coordinate resources, and assist senior professionals in the successful execution of construction projects.

The Role:
As a Leading Hand / Assistant Site Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our construction sites. You will be responsible for overseeing and executing carpentry, formwork, and joinery works, while also assisting with site management responsibilities. This role offers a clear path for growth, with opportunities to lead high-profile projects and develop your skills in site management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform carpentry, formwork, and joinery tasks to a high standard
• Assist the Site Manager (SM) and Project Manager (PM) in overseeing daily site operations
• Ensure that all work is completed safely, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project timelines are met
• Monitor and report on project progress, quality, and safety
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations
• Assist in managing and mentoring a team to deliver high-quality results

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• At least 4 years of experience post-apprenticeship in carpentry, formwork, or joinery
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with workers and subcontractors
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions under pressure
• A passion for learning and developing your career in construction
• Leadership potential, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
• A sound understanding of construction laws and regulations
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, project management software)
