Construction Manager

Hill International is looking for a Construction manager for one of our oil and gas projects based in Italy.

The Construction Manager is responsible for the management, managerial oversight, administration, and coordination of the construction process from the conceptual development stage through final construction on timely and economical basis.

• Coordination of contractors on building project
• Supervision of onsite QC/QA staff
• Coordinate with onsite owner's representative
• Resolve field issues in cooperation with A/E
• Lead weekly progress and coordination meetings
• Assist in CPM schedule updates
• Support office staff with answering of correspondence and change order review Risk Management
• Communications Plan
• Integrated Schedule development and management
• Baseline Management and Change Control
• Coordination and integration of field activities
• Closeout and Commissioning

• Bachelor Degree from an accredited university
• Work experience of eight (8) years in the sought discipline after earning the university degree
• Candidate needs to have significant O&G experience both in onshore and offshore (platforms) projects as well as pipelines. It is important to have completed construction phase (onsite) projects and not only FEED stage (office based) of all of them.
• Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write reports.
