CPP Civil

CPP have a dedicated in-house Civil construction department that plays a critical role in project delivery, providing scoping, estimating, management, and construction of civil works across transmission lines, renewables, and utility projects—giving us greater control over key project components.

Our capabilities include access tracks, roads, structural foundations, cable trenches, conduits, oil containment, and site infrastructure such as laydown areas and facilities. We also manage bulk earthworks, drainage, fencing, and signage, ensuring seamless integration of civil works into every project we deliver.

The Opportunity

Due to growth within our Civil department, we are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of construction projects from conception to completion for projects across QLD.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, Civil, this is a predominately site based role in a leadership capacity where you will lead onsite construction personnel to ensure civil construction is delivered successfully for our large scale renewable energy projects. As a natural leader and bringing expertise in bulk earthworks, structural work and foundations, you will play an active role in directing day-to-day aspects of onsite construction and providing effective resource coordination and leadership to all internal and external personnel.

Skills and Experiences:
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
  • QBCC Licence essential
  • Certificate III in IV in Civil Construction (essential), or tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering will be highly regarded
  • Experience in Civil Construction, including bulk earthworks, concrete, drainage, roads, foundations, conduits, pits, etc.
  • Experience managing High Voltage Construction Projects and/or renewables projects
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate staff across all levels
  • Demonstrated knowledge of WHSE;
  • Flexibility to travel to construction sites
