Construction Project Manager

Hollyfort, a private company specializing in public works for Government Bodies, including Healthcare and County Councils, is expanding!

We're seeking for a Construction Project Manager to join our growing team to work on exciting projects throughout Dublin and Leinster.

The Construction Project Manager will be based on the construction site in Dublin but will also travel to various project sites across counties. We’re looking for an experienced and driven professional who can take ownership of project planning, manage diverse teams, and ensure each project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of construction projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scheduling, costing, and resourcing.
  • Lead and motivate site teams, delegating tasks and providing clear direction to ensure project goals are met.
  • Work closely with Managing Director, Director of Operations, Quantity Surveyors, the management team, architects, engineers, subcontractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Proactively manage on-site challenges, resolve any issues that may arise, and keep all stakeholders updated on project progress.
  • Monitor project budgets, identify potential discrepancies early, and ensure projects stay financially on track.
  • Enforce health and safety standards on all sites, ensuring compliance with our policies and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Use Procore software to manage the full project lifecycle, including financial tracking, compliance documentation, and performance reporting.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, Building Science, or a related field; at least 2 years of experience in Construction Project Management.
  • Experience with residential or commercial construction projects and a background in trade or engineering is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint);
  • Experience with Procore software; strong understanding of construction quality and H&S standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; strong organizational abilities.
