We are seeking an ambitious and skilled Site Engineer to join our team, working on a large-scale residential development in South Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Site Manager by addressing engineering challenges and contributing to on-site decision-making.
Plan, manage, and monitor construction schedules to ensure timely project delivery.
Collaborate with Structural Engineers and Architects to align technical details and project objectives.
Review and assess technical drawings and specifications, ensuring their suitability for project needs.
Verify dimensions of shuttering, steel reinforcement, and other structures prior to concrete pours, while maintaining materials reconciliation records.
Record all on-site activities in a site diary and manage document uploads in the Document Management System (DMS).
Supervise directly employed workers and subcontractors involved in various project tasks.
Enforce compliance with company health & safety, environmental, and quality policies, along with other on-site procedures.
Requirements:
Degree or Master’s in Civil Engineering.
3–5 years of experience working with a main building contractor.
Prior experience in reinforced concrete (RC) projects and residential construction.
Proficiency with surveying instruments and relevant IT tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Self-motivated individuals seeking career advancement opportunities.
Exceptional technical knowledge and a keen attention to detail.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €42,967.19-€72,344.98 per year
